Documentation Needed to Process a Loan Application
1. Sales contract with original signatures of all parties.
2. Names, addresses, and phones numbers of all employers for the past 24 months.
3. Self-employed: Personal and corporate tax returns for the past 2 years, business profit and loss statement and balance sheet for the current year.
4. Past 2 years tax returns for any persons who are commissioned, using bonus or interest income, or persons in sales.
5. One month paycheck stub for year-to-date earnings and past 2 years W-2 forms.
6. Current liabilities:
A. Name of creditors, addresses and account numbers.
7. Banking statements for the past 3 months for all checking, savings, credit union accounts, stocks, etc.
8. VA loans: Copy of all DD214’s and/or Certificates of Eligibility.
9. FHA loans: Picture I.D. (driver’s license) and Social Security card.
10. Information for appraisal: Complete legal description, lot dimensions, age of home, and name, address, and phones numbers of person to contact for entry to home.
11. Divorce or separated persons: Divorce petition and final decree and/or separation agreement.
12. Bankruptcy: Complete bankruptcy and discharge papers.
